Who is behind Alexander's Ice Cream?
Beacher Co. was established in January of 1994 by Cheryl Schulz and Laura Berndt and they proceeded to purchase the first Alexander's in historic downtown Noblesville, Indiana. The restaurant is housed in a building that dates back to 1889 with it's original tin ceiling still in tact!
Alexander's is an old-fashioned ice cream soda shop and restaurant. Alexander's On The Square, our first restaurant, offers over 30 hand dipped ice cream flavors, old fashioned sodas, malts, and shakes made the way you want. Along with our great treats we offer great food, from our signature reuben to soups, salads, and much, much more, you'll certainly find something you like! Look at our menu for more information.
In February of 1998 Cheryl and Laura expanded the business with the purchase of Alexander's On The Water in Cicero, IN. The restaurant is set just off beautfiul Morse Resevoir. Alexaner's on the Water is a seasonal shop, open March through October. It offers 16 hand dipped ice cream flavors along with soft serve and all the same specialties that Alexander's on the Square offers. The menu differs to cater to boaters and people on the go. There is also a convenient drive through for those quick ice cream runs It has all outdoor seating to make for great summer fun!
